Spring-Summer 2024 : THE SEA, BLUE & RED

“By burning one's retina, one ends up seeing green skies, the sea in red and the sand purple” wrote Nicolas de Staël to his friend and gallery owner Jacques Dubourg in 1952. This retina, the painter may have to burnt it more than ever when he left Paris to expose his vision to the expanses and the light of the South. Sicily, Provence, Marseille, Martigues... So many places whose light and colors have led him to structure his compositions in a new and radical way, while light took precedence over matter.

This rise of color in the work of Nicolas de Staël was a great source of inspiration for our Spring-Summer 2024 collection. We wanted it to be chic and relaxed, sober but also sensual and without artifice. You will find easy-to-wear pieces, timeless fashion without excess, made with neat and sophisticated essentials in organic cotton. We are also delighted to introduce a new mohair and silk yarn which offers infinite softness and unrivaled luminosity.
