NO BLACK FRIDAY

JUST ANOTHER DAY

L'ENVERS SUSTAINABLE FASHION

Like every year at L'Envers, we won't be participating in Black Friday.

Because we offer fair prices all year long, reflecting the continued quality of our materials and pieces from our small independent partners, we never run sales and tomorrow will be no exception. Black Friday is a symbol of overconsumption and overproduction with an unthinkably negative impact on the planet, including the exploitation of natural resources.

However, this year, unlike previous years, we won't be closing our eshop. Why? Nearly one in four small businesses reported that they upcoming holiday sales will determine can survive into next year. Yes - this season is make or break for a lot of small independent businesses like ours. Rising costs, inflation, algorithmic changes making organic reach all but impossible... So we believe now is the time to support small businesses rather than buying at a discount from bigger and less sustainable brands. I've listed a few small brands I love and that you can support below.

But remember: there’s no rush. Maybe you didn’t need it last year, and won’t need it for another 2 years. That’s ok. Take your time. When and if you make your mind up, then our artisans will knit your piece, just for you. There’s no good day, no bad day. Just the right day. That’s why, for L’Envers, Black Friday is just another day.

PS: Because all our pieces are made to order, place your order before Nov 30th to receive your piece in time for Christmas.
