OUR FRENCH LINEN

Linen is one of the world's oldest fabrics, it comes from the flax plant which is really ecological. Its farming doesn’t need pesticides, needs less water than cotton and doesn’t damage soil. We use only linen locally grown, sourced and manufactured from France!
Today, there are few weavers working with fine linen fibers. This noble and authentic material demands shaping and expertise of the highest quality. We have 2 linen providers: one has fabrics highly recognized by the “Master of Linen” appellation. They other one, used for our tote bag, is very special to us as it was Julie’s, the founder of L’Envers, great grand father’s company.
Linen is considered to be the strongest of all natural fibres, and it's even been found to get stronger with washes! A linen clothes will be breathable, highly absorbent and naturally insect repelling.
