L'ENVERS x A HISTORY OF ARCHITECTURE
You told us you wanted knitted shorts and how you wanted those to be. A bit longer. A higher rise. Roomier legs. More colors. So, we decided to design this new version of our JANE shorts with the our friend Erica @ahistoryofarchitecture.
I came across Erica's profile @ahistoryofarchitecture a few years ago on Instagram, and since then, it’s one of the accounts I enjoy following the most: not only is Erica’s content inspiring, but she also demonstrates a true and sincere commitment to a better fashion, making ethics rhyme with aesthetics. Some of you might already follow her – but if you don’t, I strongly encourage you to!
Erica has a unique ability to marry all kinds of garments, colors and textures, to layer them up, making it look as if it was an effortless and natural gift, always elegant, never unnecessarily sophisticated – it’s so refreshing!
It quickly became obvious Erica was the perfect person to partner with, and we started talking about how we could re-design our JANE shorts. A bit longer. A higher rise. Roomier legs. New colors. We started working on it with Miguel in our knitting atelier in Spain, where we live.
And there they were: shorts made of 100% organic cotton of the highest quality, that come in a bright ochre, a deep plum, a light sage green and a classic off-white.
